You could easily convince yourself to go along with a popular decision or to placate someone who really wants to hear a certain opinion.  It  would certainly be easier than dealing with the potential fallout from not joining the crowd.

說服自己去走一條通俗的道路或討好期待聽到特定意見的人對你來說很容易。絕對比面對離經畔道可能導致的後果來得輕鬆。

You might also be inclined to go along because you aren’t completely confident in your own opinions. Either reason for following the crowd is wrong. 

在你心裡對自己並不是如此的有自信，這也許會讓你想要順流而行跟著多數人的腳步。不管是何種理由都不對。

You are a very reasonable, sane, practical person, and if you have a strong feeling then you need to follow it - no matter what anyone else thinks.

If you turn away something you have waited for just to save face or to give someone a certain impression, you may wind up regretting it.

You may have developed an incorrect perception of someone.

It could have developed gradually over time even though you didn’t see this person very often, and each time you had a negative experience.
也許是因為時間推移而產生的，雖然不是常常見到那個人，但每次見到時都留下一點負面的感覺。

You may soon be in this person’s company again, only this time it will be more frequently.
很快，你又會跟這個人結成同儕，不過這次將會更頻繁。

You need to drop your old idea of what this person is all about because it may not be accurate after all.
必須拋下對這個人的一切舊有成見，因為成見也許並不準確。

Give the relationship another chance with an open mind, and you may be be pleasantly surprised.
給一段關係一個機會去敞開心胸，你也許會感到愉悅的驚喜唷。
